Hitler in the Nazi Party |
The term Nazi came from the name of the political party of: National Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei = NAZI. In english it translate to the "National Socialist German Workers party"
Contrary to popular belief, Hitler didn't create the Nazi party, it was created by a man named Anton Drexler. Hitler made an impression on Drexler in one of the Nazi meetings in Munich. Drexler wanted Bavaria to break away from Germany and proposed this idea at a Nazi meeting where Hitler strongly opposed the idea with his strong nationalistic beliefs. Drexler impressed by Hitler's rebuttal offered him to join the small political party. Hitler became member #555, and with the Nazi party having no employees and no offices, any one could take control and work there way up to the top of the party. Hitler was put in control of publicity and propaganda for the Nazi party an area he excelled in, as he knew how to trigger peoples emotions.
